There is much debate about which drinks are the most popular in the world. Beer is by far the biggest selling alcoholic drink the world, no doubt about it, it’s not wine! Beer is the king of Alcoholic drinks, and although this is a broad area, I would like to look at the more specific drinks available, and in different places. So let’s start somewhere random then move onto some larger places:

Cuba is the place of cocktails. The most popular tipple is this somewhat unique country, is called the Cuba Libre. Cuba Libre is quite simply just Rum and Coke, the better the rum, the better the drink, and then top off with a sharp slice of lime. Although this is a very simple drink, it is extremely favourable by tourists and locals alike. There is also the Mojito, loved by many tourists, but also all over the world.

Egypt, this is our next stop. Slightly larger than Cuba and receives more tourists each year. Stella, this is Egypt’s biggest beer. Everyone who reads this has probably just thought “what Artois”, and you would be wrong. It is in fact a beer with a 4.5%abv which is quite high for a gentle tasting beer. It is actually owned by Heineken and is brewed in a brewery called Alaham Beverages.

This is the biggy, America. Anything that comes to mind? This may be a product made by the Budweiser people, but it isn’t their main drink. The Bud beer that is king, is actually Bud Light. Bud Light can be consumed in ridiculously massive amounts, and you wont feel the effects for a fair while. Bud is very close, but these two are the complete front runners for alcoholic drinks in the United States.

So are you looking for Egypt holidays, Cuba holidays or how about something a little more unique like Maldives holidays, where you can create your own maybe more experimental cocktail?

Depending on where you’re located, summer in the USA can mean blistering heat and long days of the purest sunshine. Whilst many enjoy this more than grey, wet or cold weather, its still hard to stay chilled out and comfortable sometimes. What you can do though is take a trip to somewhere you can find cool waters and a chilled out atmosphere that will make you feel fresh again. Below we look at three such places in more detail.

Newport Beach, California. Featured in the recent hit TV show The OC, Newport has fast become a favourite hangout of Hollywood stars and the rich who have time to burn. USA holidays in Newport have been steady increasing over the last decade or so, which has been a result of both the increased profile of the place and the fact they you can now find some of the top restaurants and shopping in the whole of Western America.

Key West, Florida. This great place can be found in the Florida Keys and is famed from its vibrant atmosphere, as well as its world-class water sports. You can take a boat out, do a bit or snorkelling and fishing, and achieve a level of calm most people can only dream of. If you want a bit more entertainment then head into town, where youll find street performers, artists and more bars serving refreshing drinks than almost any other American holidays resort.

Schlitterbahn Water Park, Texas. If its hot and youve got kids, then chances are they wont be satisfied hanging around drinking pina coladas all day, or maybe they will. They are more likely though to want to spend their time splashing around and zipping down water slides, which makes Schlitterbahn Waterpark the perfect place to visit. This water park hosts an impressive 65-acres worth of water fun and constantly updates its attractions, which explains why it wins numerous awards each year.

If you still cant cool down enough however and youre not enjoying summer, you can always go on Canada holidays instead, where the climate is a little fresher.

Haena Beach Park is a beach in Kauai which is famous for its beauty. If you want to see this beautiful beach Hawaii Wedding can help you decide if Heana is the right beach for you. You maight have seen this beach in a number of movies. After seeing the beauty of this beach, you will not wonder why this beach is considered as a paradise. this beach has about a six acre area. because of the moutains and the ocean, this is a great place forpictures and sight seeing. Some people call this beach Maniniholo. It was called this because of the Manini fish that you can find here.

This beach os great for camping on. This is a good place to relax because the palm trees provide a good shade. In winter, the waves are much bigger. A large number of surfers love to take the challenge of these powerful waves in winters on this beach. In summers, the ocean is calm on this beach. In the summer, you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling. This beach is carpeted with a golden sand. This would be a great place to have a picnic. Different facilities like showers, picnic tables and restrooms are around this area.

You will not be able to find any life guards here, you will also not find many people swimming here. This is because the reef is not present here to slow down the waves. Experienced surfers should be the only ones that surf here. If you are a beginner or an amateur surfer, you should not be at this beach. However, you can enjoy watching the activities of experienced surfers on this beach. This beach has a beauty that nothing can compare to.

If you are looking for a good time on Kauai Beach Kauai Wedding Planner can help.

Endemic species are everywhere on Hawaii, the Island chain created by vulcanos far from everything in the pacific ocean. The only way for a plant or animal to arrive on the Island used to be Wind, Waves or Wings (the 3Ws). The waves transported coconuts, swimming animals and animals caught on floating objects to the island, the wind brought airborn seeds and tiny organisms and the wings, I.E. Birds and insects could fly there brinign nuts, seeds and parasites with them.

Hawaii has been extra hard for animals and plants to colonize because the group of island is the most isolated land mass on earth with more than 4000 km (2400 Miles) to the nearest continental shore. The main island emerged from the sea about 10 million years ago but other Islands allready existed in the area which meant that the biological colonization of the are had allready begun in the area. Many submerged banks and coral atolls in the area are remnants of these ancient peaks.

The reasons that Hawaii has so many endemic species is the fact that it located so far away from other areas, this works as a biological filter as most animal populations can be traced back to a low number of ancestors that found their way to the island, sometimes only one or two specimens. This means a very small gene pool with make it easy for new species to develop as every mutation can get a large effect on the entire population.

Compared to most other large animals, birds quite often find remote islands since they can fly. Some of them return to mainland or move on, but others stay on the island where they eventually turn into new species. On Hawaii, you can for instance find birds such as Hawaiian Duck (Anas wyvilliana), the Hawaiian Goose (Branta sandvicensis), Hawaiian Petrel (Pterodroma sandwichensis) and Hawaiian Hawk (Buteo solitarius). Their names in the local language are Koloa Maoli, Nene, Ua u, and Io, respectively.

A good example of the numerous Hawaiian tropical flowers Endemic to the islands is Hibiscus brackenridgei, the official state flower of Hawaii. It is known as Ma’o hau hele in the local language and can be found in shrub lands and dry forrest areas below an elevation of 800 meters (2600ft). Although rare, it is found on all the main islands except Ni’ihau and Kaho’olawe. Ma’o hau hele produces large yellow flowers with a maroon centre that grows singly or in small clusters at the ends of branches.

There exists many endemic spider and insect species on Hawaii and among them you will find the snail eating caterpillar Hyposmocoma molluscivora, the happy faced spider Theridion grallator, aswell as the tree-living snail Achatinella apexfulva. Hyposmocoma molluscivora is a moth whose larvae use silk to capture snails before crawling into their shells and eating them alive. The caterpillars are only found on the island of Maui and are known to make a case out of silk and decorate it with actual snail shells, perhaps in an effort to camouflage themselves from their prey.

With the imminent arrival of the staff Christmas do, it is vitally important to make sure the right place is booked for the staff.

In my experience, these office bashes can get really out of hand and in my case, very messy.

For instance, I recall a do where I didn’t even make it to the restaurant. Instead I decided to drink and drink at a friend’s house before we went to the restaurant. Unfortunately I drank so much that I was actually pig sick and couldn’t even stand, let alone get out of the door and go to the restaurant.

It always seems such a great idea at the time, but as is normally the case, the more I drink, the more relaxed I get and eventually I end up a right mess.

For once, this year I am determined not to make a complete idiot of myself. It would be nice to remain fairly sober (not a chance).

However, if I should have too much to drink (foregone conclusion) there will hopefully be some decent bar furniture I can prop myself up against at the local pub. I know there won’t be a problem with the restaurant furniture, but you know what these pubs can sometimes be like. They are all modern and futuristic with no seating areas. Whatever happened to the cosy snugs of olden days?

I am sure that once our meal has ended my work colleagues will be somehow getting me out of the restaurant. I will hopefully still be in one piece and able to at least stagger up to the nightclub. Once in the club, I know I will be okay because there is loads of funky club furniture around that I can collapse onto.

I am hoping not to make an idiot of myself and hopefully instead will be dancing the night away.On the other hand though, if I don’t make a fool of myself, what would everybody in the office have to laugh about the next day??

I traveled many times to Barcelona (and as well to other cities about Europe) and I can sustain that Barcelona is best for holidays in whatever time of year.

El Gotic, as well known as Barri Gotic (‘Gothic Quarter’ in Catalan) is the heart of the former city of Barcelona. It stretches from La Rambla to Via Laietana, and from the Mediterranean seafront to Ronda de Sant Pere.

Ronda de Sant Pere is a thoroughfare in central. La Rambla can be considered a program of shorter streets, apiece differently named, hence the plural forms Les Rambles (Las Ramblas). From the Placa de Catalunya toward the seaport, the street is in turn the Rambla de Canaletes, the Rambla dels Estudis, the Rambla de Sant Josep, the Rambla dels Caputxins, and the Rambla de Santa Monica. Building of the Maremagnum in the primeval 1990s resulted in a continuation of La Rambla on a wooden paseo into the harbor, the Rambla de Mar.
Despite several changes undergone in the 19th and early 20th century, many of the buildings date from Medieval times, some from as farther backwards as the Roman settlement of Barcelona. Remains of the squared Roman Wall can be seen around Tapineria and Sots-Tinent Navarro to the north, Avinguda de la Catedral and Placa Nova to the west and Carrer de la Palla to the south. El Call, the knightly Jewish quarter, is located inside this region too.
The Barri Gotic retains a complex street plan, with many little streets opening come out into squares. Almost of the quarter is unopen to lawful traffic although open to service vehicles and taxis.

Check other attractions, check cheap airlines and visit Barcelona. Program your travel to because at that place are so many things to examine. And left something to see succeeding time.

It is so exciting to get an invitation to a baby shower. You really don’t want to buy an expensive gift that is not within your budget. You don’t have to stay at home even if you don’t have the means. There are actually lots of gift suggestions that are within your budget. They will certainly be as valued as other costly gifts.

1. Try to be a step ahead if you want to buy clothes. Odds are everyone will buy an outfir for a newborn so it is better if you don’t. It is better to buy apparel for a 12-month old. You can get a discount when you purchase them close to the end of the season. In conclusion, you purchased a gift for half the price.

2. You could choose to buy unique gifts if you are the type. A couple of great ideas would be a baby photo album as well as a hand-print and footprint plaster kit. You can craft picture frames with diverse sizes. These are great gift ideas that are within the budget. They can also be given as keepsakes that the parents will really admire.

3. If you have an association with the mother-to-be, you could go to all the events, that is if she is having more than 1 baby shower. Perhaps you can take photographs in every occasion and arrange them in a scrapbook for her. This would make a terrific and an inexpensive gift idea.

4. If you would rather give a gift that is educational, the perfect pick is children’s books. Since babies always put stuff in their mouths, it will be wise to buy board books. Any children’s book will surely be wonderful but it’s better if they have rhymes. Classic story books like Pinocchio for boys and The Little Mermaid for girls are also educational. Lots more info can be found on the internet on bridal shower invitations, baby shower centerpieces and baby shower cake ideas .

5. A tub packed with baby stuff is another great present to give. Try not to spend more than twenty dollars. Just buy a nice-looking tub and fill it up with baby things. Buy practical stuff that the new mom might have forgotten to register for. Great suggestions would be diaper rash cream, diaper wipes, baby lotion, baby oil and baby wash.

6. For sure a mom would think an umbrella stroller will be of use. As soon as the baby starts to sit up, this would be useful. You could purchase one for less than 15 dollars.

7. One more educational gift alternative would be small toys for babies. Given that learning is limitless, these can be very useful for the parents and the babies. These would definitely help them in the process. These are convenient for moms to have at home or in the diaper bags. Given that they don’t cost much, you can still have extra money even if you purchase a few.

8. It is always practical to give a big pack of diapers. The mom would positively astounded! You might want to surf the internet or look at ads to be guaranteed that you get the discounted rate.

As discussed, there a lot of baby shower gift suggestions that are within your budget. In view of that, don’t beg to be excused or attend lacking of a gift. With a baby on the way, any kind of gift will surely be loved.

Las penitas has long been a popular destination for locals and expats lucky enough to find this hidden gem located 12 miles or 18 km from the city of Leon on Nicaraguas west coast. The small village is very much a white spot on the map for the surfing community despite the fact that it offers world class surfing on empty beaches that are nothing like the crowded beaches that the community flock to along the U.S. and Mexican pacific coast but forget to explore the fantastic surfing further south.

Las penitas is suitable for surfers of all levels of expertise, but the undertow can be fearsome so signing up for at least a few local surfing classes is recommended if your are a beginner. There is a surfing school located in a small thatched hut right on the beach between Playa Roca and Hostel Oasis. The school offers lessons, rent out equipment and body boars as well as having a skilled repair man that can fix any damages your board might have if you want him to.

The beach offers great waves all year around and is known to consistently offer great waves. The waves are point-break waves with a lenght of 50-150 meters. Swells starts working at 1.0-1.5 m and holds up to 3 m+. The bottom is sandy but in a few spots rocks are hidden below the surface during hide tide, so asking the locals or spending some time checking out the beach during low tide is recommended.

Las Penitas offers a wide variety of affordavle accomondations and is home to a number of Hotels, Hotels and B&Bs. Dorms start at 6 USD/night and private rooms are available from 20 USD/night. Most hotels and hostels also serve relatively cheap food, such as catch of the day, fried meat with jalapeno sauce, and hamburgers. An example of this is ther restaurant Bertha located nead the entrancy to Las Penitas that offer a gigantic sea food platter that is enough for 2-3 persons for less than 13 usd and very good fish dishes for 5 USD. If you budget is very low you can eat from stands outside peoples houses at night for less than 1 USD. The local shops offer a bag od breed for 15 cordobas (75 cents) and 2 dozen bananas for a buck. Want a cocoa nut? Just pick one up from the beach and enjoy; the beach gardens with their overhanging coconut trees apparently produce much more fruit than the owners care to use because you frequently find coconuts left in the sand.

You can get to managua on one of countless flights each day and getting here is easy as it is a mere 2 hours flight from Miami. Once in Managua airport, you will get your passport stamped by friendly inspectors who see it as their job to welcome foreign visitors to the country. Nicaragua are very eager to promote tourism and want everyone to have a good stay as tourism is a very important source of income for this poor country..

From Managua you take the express bus from UCA (Universidad Centro America) to Leon for 40 cordobas (2 USD) and then catch the 10 cordoba (50 cent) bus to Las Penitas / Poneloya from El Mercandito de Sutiaba. If you for some reason are in a hurry, you pay a cab driver 150-200 cordobas (7.50-10 USD) to take you from Leon to Las Penitas in 15 minutes, but some taxis might be too small to accommodate a surfing board. The bus is slow and make a lot of stops along the way but one benefit with the bus is that it has plenty of place for your surfing board (you might be asked to pay 10 cordobas / 50 cent extra to bring to board on the buss.

The other day I was chatting to a friend of mine and we were reminiscing about the great old days. We got chatting about some of the fantastic old comedy shows that we used to tune into back in the 1970’s

She was saying that one of her favourites used to be Fawlty Towers with the brilliant John Cleese.

I had to agree that this show was British comedy at its very finest, and certainly caused a great amount of laughter, something that nowadays seems to be sadly lacking.

We got on to talking about the stars of the show and actually had a bit of a row about John Cleese and his real life wife. My friend was adamant that John Cleese was married to Prunella Scales, who played his wife in the show, but I knew he was in fact married to Connie Booth who played Polly the maid.

It’s weird that such a stupid chat can get so out of hand, but you know what it can be like when 2 women both think they are right, neither of them like to admit that they might be wrong.

We eventually did what we should have done in the first place and did a search in Google to find out which one of us was right. Naturally it was me who was correct, which didn’t go down very well with my mate.

She said that perhaps I should think about booking a self catering Torquay holiday. I said that I would rather visit some of the hotels in Devon in the hope that one of them might actually have a real life Hotel owner like Basil Fawlty.

Of course nowadays in Torquay there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied. One of my friends who organises bowling holidays for her Club was pretty impressed with Torquay during a recent visit. She loved the place so much that she has already booked up for 2 tournaments for her bowling team for next year.

I wonder if she is hoping to get a hotel owner like Basil Fawlty, at least there would never be a dull moment!!
